What gets left behind

The jewellery outlasts
the ones who knew where it was.

Decades of bangles, coins, and bars — held in lockers, in cupboards, and in someone's memory. MyAurum is the private ledger so your family knows what's there, where it sits, and who it goes to.

Continents apart.
One private register.

For Indian families spread across cities and countries — the locker your parents hold in Mumbai, the policies in their filing cabinet, the FDs that mature while you're in another time zone, the property on two sides of an ocean. One ledger so distance doesn't become loss.

— Physical holdings —

Every form your gold takes.

Jewellery

The bridal chain, the antique bangle, the everyday rings. Gross weight, karat, inclusions. Photographs, jeweller, occasion — every detail you'd want a future executor to have.

Coins & bars

Investment-grade pieces. Fineness, weight, mint. SGB tranches with maturity countdowns and interest schedules. Live valuation against today's spot.

Anything in between

White gold without a stamp. Mixed-alloy heirlooms. Broken pieces awaiting repair. Custom-purity recording for what doesn't fit a clean karat — recorded for posterity, not valuation.

— What ends up undocumented —

The things only one person knew.

The locker no one knew about

Bank lockers and home safes with bangles, coins, deeds, certificates — content unknown to the family until it's too late. Documented here with photos, inventories, and pickup instructions.

The FD that quietly matured

Fixed deposits, mutual funds, insurance policies in old folders, with renewal dates nobody tracked. Maturity reminders, nominee on file, folio and account numbers encrypted.

The property paper trail

Deeds, RC books, registration numbers, encumbrance status — recorded for the people who will need them. Real estate, vehicles, watches, artwork, heirlooms.

— Assets across borders —

What distance makes hard to track.

The locker you can't visit often

Bank lockers and safe-deposit contents back home — gold accumulated across two generations, deeds for ancestral property, certificates in folders no one has opened in years. Inventoried with photos, accessible from anywhere.

Your parents' policies and FDs

LIC policies, PPF accounts, fixed deposits, mutual funds in your parents' filing cabinets — documents you may need to help locate someday. Record once, on file for the moment it matters, encrypted at rest.

Property on two sides of an ocean

A flat in Pune, a house in New Jersey. A 401(k) here, an EPF there. Multi-currency display in INR, USD, AED, GBP, EUR — so values stay legible wherever the reader sits.

Indian families hold gold across generations. Most of it lives undocumented — in lockers, in drawers, in stories that depend on who remembers. When someone is no longer there to point to it, what's left is fragments. MyAurum is a private record that survives the person.

In Indian households, what's owned is often known only to the person who built it. A locker, an FD, a flat, a folder of policies — held in trust by memory rather than by record. MyAurum is the register that doesn't depend on memory — written down once, available to the people who need it, when they need it.

Indian families today live across continents. Lockers in Mumbai, policies in your parents' filing cabinets, FDs that mature while you're in another time zone, property on two sides of an ocean. MyAurum is the private register that crosses those borders — so an emergency in one country doesn't become an estate puzzle in another.

How MyAurum is built

Sensitive fields — item names, financial-record identifiers, property addresses, nominee details, estate notes — are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The database holds ciphertext, not plaintext. The encryption key lives in our server environment, not in the database.

No advertising. No analytics partners with personal data access. No data brokers. The only third parties involved are Razorpay (when you upgrade), Resend (transactional email), and Google (sign-in only) — each named in our Privacy Policy.

Records are exportable in CSV, succession PDF, and printable holdings statement. Account deletion is two clicks and removes everything within 7 days. If MyAurum were ever acquired or shut down, you would be given at least 60 days to export and delete before any change in operations.

— Questions —

Things people ask.

Is my data really private?+
Sensitive fields — item names, financial-record identifiers, property addresses, nominee details, notes, estate-note contents — are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, the same authenticated cipher banks use for confidential data. The database holds ciphertext, not plaintext. Records are decrypted on demand to power the features you use — succession documents, family share links, weekly digests — and for nothing else. No advertising, no profiling, no AI training, no data brokers. Never sold, never shared.
What does Free include?+
Up to 20 entries (holdings and records combined), live spot prices in your currency, succession PDF export, share-link to a spouse or CA, weekly portfolio email, custom-purity recording for unvalued pieces. No credit card required. No trial countdown. No locked features behind a paywall on day one.
Is this only for jewellery?+
No. Three surfaces feed one consolidated succession picture. MyDrawer is the main vault — physical metals with live valuation: jewellery, coins, bars, cutlery, silverware. MyRecords keeps non-physical holdings on file — mutual funds, fixed deposits, sovereign gold bonds, gold ETFs, equity, insurance, retirement accounts; the things where the answer to what's where lives in a folio number rather than a locker. MyProperty records physical property that isn't precious metal — real estate, vehicles, watches, artwork, heirlooms. The metals are the heart of the product; the other two surfaces exist so a single document can lead your family to everything.
Do you sell or share my data?+
Never. There are no advertising partners, no analytics partners with PII access, no data brokers. The only third parties involved are your payment provider (Razorpay) when you upgrade, and standard email delivery (Resend) for transactional messages. Both are documented in our Privacy Policy.
How does succession work?+
Each piece can name a nominee — who inherits this. You can record estate notes for the locker location, the lawyer's contact, the will reference. A Dead Man's Switch can send your records to designated custodians by email if you go inactive for a chosen period (30, 60, 180, or 360 days). Logging in resets the clock.
Can I export my records?+
Anytime. CSV download, PDF succession document formatted for your family, printable holdings statement formatted for advisors. Your records are yours — they don't live in a walled garden.
What about international users?+
MyAurum is built in India and primarily for Indian families, including diaspora. Currency is determined by the country recorded on your account: India is billed in INR, everywhere else in USD. Display currency can be switched independently to INR, USD, AED, EUR, or GBP.
What if I forget my password?+
Reset it through the standard email-link flow. Your records are encrypted on our servers, not against your password, so a password reset gives you back full access to everything in your vault. We still recommend magic-link sign-in or Google OAuth for the everyday flow — fewer credentials to remember, and no password to phish.
